Eucerin DermoCapillaire Calming Urea Scalp Treatment is a leave-in, no-rinse lotion built around 5% urea, designed to keep a dry, tight, itchy-feeling scalp comfortably hydrated between washes. Why it works

A dry-feeling scalp is usually a moisture-and-barrier issue more than a hair issue. Eucerin's approach is to put moisture-binding ingredients exactly where the discomfort starts, in a lightweight, non-sticky base that doesn't have to be washed off afterwards.

• Urea 5% — one of the components of skin's own natural moisturizing factor (NMF). At this concentration it acts as a humectant that holds water in the upper layers of the scalp and helps smooth surface texture.
• Sodium lactate, glycerin, methylpropanediol — complementary humectants that extend hydration and help the formula spread evenly without a heavy after-feel.
• Glycyrrhiza Inflata root extract — licorice extract, the source of Licochalcone A. Included for its soothing profile on tight, easily irritated skin.
• Lactic acid — at low cosmetic levels, gently supports surface renewal so the moisture has somewhere to sit.

How to use

Part your hair into sections so the scalp is accessible. Hold the bottle close to the parting and apply small amounts of the lotion directly to the scalp through the nozzle. Massage in gently with your fingertips and leave on — no rinsing. Style your hair as usual. Can be used on washed, towel-dried hair after a shower, or on a dry scalp between washes. Once or twice daily depending on how dry the scalp feels. Avoid the eye area.
