I have silent acid reflux and have been experiencing sinus issues and a constant "lump in the throat" with mucus and sneezing even though I do not have allergies (I do have non-allergic rhinitis - started on azelestine and a sinus rinse 2 times a day). As this has been getting worse for quite some time, I read that due to its alginate properties, this product is the gold standard for dealing with the LPR that is causing pepsin migration to my sinuses. Five days in and I am already feeling a bit better. Hopeful that in 2-3 months I will be fully healed. My doctor fully approved this course of treatment so I will see how it goes.
While I've only tried them for about a week now, I can say they definitely help with the stomach acid "visiting" me. My Doctor recommended them as I could not see him for 6 weeks. I know they will hold me over until then. The taste is like Pepto-Bismol so very tolerable. Convenient and easy to take they can travel quite nicely. I don't understand why they are so difficult to obtain them in the States, but glad I found them finally. Brits use them all the time. Even tough to find in Canada. But worth my research time.

I am so happy I found this product! I have a hiatal hernia. That is bad enough where I was being assessed for surgery. I sought out surgery because I cannot take PPI’s or Pepcid or anything like that because they make me sick. And by sick, I mean it lasts about a week because on top of the hiatal hernia, I have diverticulosis, and so it just messes up my whole system. The doctor decided not to give me surgery because I cannot take PPI’s or Pepcid, which doesn’t make any sense to me at all, so I was basically just left to suffer. The acid reflux is bad enough to where it’s caused Barretts esophagus, which is a precursor to cancer so not only was I left to live in pain, but also love to live in fear. I’d pretty much given up. And then I went to see a doctor about another condition and somehow the acid reflux/hiatal hernia came up, and he suggested the Gaviscon advanced. At first, I just kind of scoffed because nothing had helped me so far, but the pain can be pretty great and so I finally tried it. I am so happy that I did because it seems to be the only thing that works for me. I’m giving it five stars, even though the tablets adhere to my teeth and it takes a long time to pick it off and it’s kind of annoying, but it is a small price to pay for such relief. Thank You!!

Didn't work on my indigestion
They work great but the texture is a little weird when you chew it.
Just tried these out for the first time. This product does contain the exact ingredients I was looking for. Only initial issue I see is that the texture is too sticky. It literally sticks to your teeth for quite a while. Of course there is a liquid option I may consider.
