Gaviscon Double Action Liquid Sachets, mint flavor: 12 individually sealed sachets, each containing 10 ml of oral suspension. This is a UK medicine for heartburn and indigestion.

Formula and directions

Each 10 ml contains sodium alginate 500 mg, sodium bicarbonate 213 mg and calcium carbonate 325 mg. Ages 12 and over: take 1–2 sachets after meals and at bedtime, up to four times daily. Under 12: only on medical advice. Follow the pack's instructions.

Precautions

Contains sodium and preservatives. Check the leaflet for allergies, interactions and restrictions concerning kidney disease, calcium and salt intake. Ask a pharmacist if pregnant, breastfeeding or taking other medicines. Leave a 2-hour interval from other medicines as directed. Seek advice if symptoms persist after 7 days.
