Ialuset is a French-pharmacy single-active cream built around one ingredient: 0.2% sodium hyaluronate. No fragrance, no dyes, 13 ingredients total. The format people reach for when skin feels dry, tight, or stretched — including after retinoid nights, cold-weather months, and post-procedure days.
Why it works
Most moisturizers layer five or six actives. Ialuset does the opposite — one well-dosed humectant in a clean, stable base. Sodium hyaluronate is hygroscopic: it holds water at the skin surface and keeps the outer layer supple rather than tight. The rest of the formula supports that one job.
- Sodium hyaluronate 0.2% — produced through biofermentation. Draws and holds moisture at the surface of the skin, maintaining suppleness through the day or night.
- Glycerol and sorbitol — two complementary humectants that extend the hydration effect and help the cream spread evenly without heaviness.
- Cetearyl glucoside and cetearyl alcohol — plant-derived emulsifiers that give the cream a smooth, fast-absorbing texture without a greasy or occlusive after-feel.
What you can expect
A smooth, white-to-ivory cream. Spreads easily, absorbs in under a minute, leaves no visible film. Comfortable on tight, sensitised, or reactive skin from the first use.
- 0.2% sodium hyaluronate — the concentration the original Genevrier formula has used since the beginning
- 13 ingredients — no fragrance, no dyes, no essential oils, no silicones
- 100g aluminium tube — three to four months of daily face use, or six to eight weeks on larger areas
The most common pattern from our US customers: pairing Ialuset with A313 or another retinoid on nights when skin feels tight or flaky. Apply the retinoid first, wait a few minutes, then Ialuset on top or on the driest patches. It adds moisture without interfering with the retinoid step — confirmed by customers who have made this combination a permanent part of their routine.
Why we stock it
Ialuset was developed by Laboratoires Genevrier and is now produced by IBSA Pharma in Sophia Antipolis, on the French Riviera. It has been a staple in French pharmacies for decades but is not stocked in standard US drugstores. We import it directly from authorized French distribution and hold it on our US warehouse shelf — no three-week wait, no grey-market sourcing.
How to use
Apply a thin layer to clean skin once or twice daily — face, body, or targeted patches. For dry or post-treatment skin, apply a thicker layer before sleep and leave on overnight. Patch-test if your skin is highly reactive. Avoid the immediate eye area.
